I have a theory…that there has never been a bad baseball movie. So I decided to share my top 5 favorite baseball movies of all-time:
#5 – Mr. Baseball (I’m a huge Tom Selleck fan!)
#4 – Major League (How can you not love Willie Mays Hayes and crew?)
#3 – Field of Dreams ("If you build it, they will come" – One of the most classic movie lines ever!)
#2 – The Natural (It’s hard to put this movie at number 2 because I’ve never been able to watch this movie and not cry. Roy Hobbs is one of the best movie characters of all time)
And #1 – The Sandlot (Hands down, the greatest ever!) You’re killing me Smalls!

The Rookie is a good one. But you are right. I love them all!
Best line from The Sandlot:
“FOR – EH – VER!”
the greatest Pickle ever!!!
Watch out for the beast!
I’m not a baseball fan (I know, I know) yet I’ve seen and enjoyed each one of these movies…well except for Sandlot which I can’t recall if I’ve seen it or not. Maybe I’ll rent it or God can bless me with a chance to see it on Tivo.
